EdReady Math permits students to self-assess for mastery of grade-level knowledge and skills and readiness their next math course. EdReady uses diagnostic testing to establish personalized study paths to fill in learning gaps and to reinforce understanding. Each EdReady Math goal contains between 20-80 learning topics aimed at fully preparing students for readiness for the next grade level. Online instruction follows a consistent structure of... 1. Test EdReady also utilizes a variety of topic-specific, media-rich resources, including an embedded glossary, NROC Developmental Math content, Khan Academy, and more. As students demonstrate mastery of each skill and learning topic in their study path, they see their goal score increase as evidence of progress toward their target score of 100. Resources Included: All content materials are included, though it is recommended that students have access to paper, pencils, and a calculator while completing work online.

Scoring System: This course does not produce a final score within the Student Learning Portal. All scoring is kept within the individual student's EdReady dashboard. Students can track their progress over time, starting from their initial goal score set by a diagnostic test. This score increases toward a target score of 100, indicating mastery has been demonstrated for all skills contained within the goal's scope of study.
Time Commitment: EdReady Math courses are for personalized enrichment or remediation. They do not follow a standardized pacing guide and may vary greatly in the length of time required for individual students to complete the content. Year round courses are open entry, in that students may start on any date during the Year Round session. However, there is an defined end date and students do not have a "year" to work on courses. Students must finish all Year Round courses by the session end date in mid August.

Enrollment in EdReady Math is not accompanied by the support of an online instructor. Required Assessment: Each EdReady Math Goal added by the student to his/her dashboard will require completion of a diagnostic test that will serve as the basis to establish a personalized study path for each student. Thereafter, students will complete short assessments for each lesson skill not yet mastered.
Technical Skills Needed: No special skills are required beyond being able to operate a computer and use word processing software.
